When Last We Saw the Shiba Inus
they were laying around sleeping and eating. Their eyes were still closed.
Things have changed.
I still have embed problems, so here's the link for the live cam.
I first saw one of these last week in a coffee house in Ballard. God, they are cute! I expect they are quite expensive, so I probably won't be slipping anything into Carl's cat food. Ran into two miniature schnausers today. Cute, but nothing like the shiba inus.
I saw my first one on Wednesday. Very soft coat. History is interesting, too. Breed saved by a Japanese man during WWII who didn't even like dogs, but revered the tradition. Or was that the Akitas? Can't remember now. Cheers.
