Back But Not Refreshed

Teddy Kennedy dies and Joe Klein writes something worth quoting:

Dick Cheney has now accused the Obama Administration of politicizing the Justice Department...after his Administration criminalized the Justice Department.

There's some navel gazing over at TPM wondering if Teddy's signature cause — health care reform — might gain a little momentum from the foot-dragging Dems, suddenly faced with a reminder of their own mortality and the shortness of a life, with or without achievement. Doubt it, but I could be less cynical if someone would soon (Sept. 15?) announce that there were enough willing votes in the Senate and enough willing wills to push it through on reconciliation.
