Well, actually that's national polls, anytime before about three weeks out from the election, which is about where we are.
Also, state polls are really important because we have this thing called the electoral college.
Anyway, Missouri has always been kind of an also-ran for Obama but today the latest poll has him up 8 points. (8 points!)
And he's also up in...wait for it...North Dakota.

You know, I'm almost beginning to think that despite all the things stacked against him, Obama is going to make it. There's still the "hanging chads" of course...
ReplyDeleteIf he doesn't I feel total foreboding for both the US and those of us in the rest of the world who desperately want the healing of the breach made by GWB (andour own Tony Blair). The massive support for Obamain European opinion polls demonstrates just how much most Europeans want that healing process to begin.
I've been predicting a landslide for many months. Of course, thats what I want to believe.
